Since we are planning on being in Okla. during Christmas, we had our little Christmas yesterday. I fixed cornish hens (disappointment- they looked cute, but that was about it.) and the fixings. The dressing was a little disappointing too. But even though the meal wasn't "perfect", we still enjoyed our evening.
We've adopted Joseph's family's tradition of having stockings. We bought cheap little things for each other, along with the 'real' gift. That was really fun! And Joseph bought me some junk food!!!!! Chocolate covered cherries, salt & vinegar chips, and three candy bars! He got me lots of other stuff too.
I made Daniel a blanket. Lots of hours went into that thing! I hope he'll like it. He's kinda small to tell now, but he was sure looking at it. He seems to like his stocking gifts, forks and spoons and suction-grip bowls with lids(I guess that one was partly for me...).

He still needs to work on his sitting-up skills...

Coupons Joseph made for me!
Daniel's blanket. I noticed after it was all finished that I had forgotten to embroirdrey the rabbit's eyes...
Daniel checking out the gifts. Poor little guy would kinda scream when we tore the wrapping paper. I think it scarred him.

I had some sugar cookie dough in the freezer, so I made some Christmas cookies. Mom used to do this when I was little, and they were so pretty! I know I'm not my mom, and some of them are kinda crazy, but I was having fun!
Daniel is really getting into stuff now. I had him laying on the futon in the office while I sewed, and he found Daddy's folder box to suck on.
Now I can post all the baby pictures I want and not worry about fb friends getting sick of them. (If you are one of those friends that are sick of the multitude of pictures, you've come to the wrong place...)
And I have some videos of, yes, the baby again, that I didn't succeed in getting up on my other site. So I'll just be lazy and use blogger.
Well, my house is almost looking "Christmasy". I have a red table cloth, some greenery and a couple of red candles on the table. Some red ribbon around the pillars (some falling down, some not up yet). I have a few wrapped gifts on the living room floor, along with the rest of the wrapping paper, a laundry basket, a baby walker, my well-loved marker board, and a not quite 50' chain of greenery and decor, a piece of crown moulding that Joseph just made, and some other stuff as well. (This house is lived in, and occasionally clean!)
Joseph is working late tonight, the baby is asleep, so blogger 'here I is'!!
Okay, let me see if I can post some pictures or videos and get some people to come look at this jabbering of mine!
