Could someone please tell me how to lay out my pages better? I just up loaded three pictures on that last post, and something happened to one of them(but I got it this time!). And I clicked for them to go to the left of the page and you see what happened. Ugly. But I don't care enough to re-upload them.
Being a wife was a dream job of mine. I got that job when I married my wonderful husband in 2009. But there was another job that I wanted too. I got that job two years later. A son was born into our home and I became a wife and a mother. My dream come true!

Daniel's Book
I decided to make a book using the same iron-ons that I used on his blanket. But the needle work takes too long, so I
I wanted the crinkle sound that somes baby books have so found away to do it. I bought a bag of fresh spinach, and cut up the bag and sewed it in the cover. (Actually I think it was the spinach bags that gave me the idea of making a book.) Probably not the way
Fisher-Price does it, but it works!
He hasn't played with it much yet. I did give it to him to see what he'd do before it was finished, but I couldn't turn him loose with it because it had pins in it. Now the title is drying and it'll be done!

Daniel got his second tooth in yesterday. (one week after his first) At least that is when I've first noticed the teeth. We gave him some mashed up banana a couple of days ago. That was his first time to have solid food. He would get it in his mouth and then cough. But he kept eating more so I guess he kinda liked it. While we're talking about his first foods I'll tell this one too. Yesterday I gave him a "marshmallow treat" that was in a pretty wrapper. I thought he'd like playing with it and since it was in an air-tight package, what would it hurt? Yep, you're right. He now knows what chocolate taste like.
I'm quite pleased at all I got done yesterday. I swept, mopped, vacuumed(living room), made bread, made granola cereal, gave the bathrooms a quick cleaning, straighten the office, I guess that's about it. But it seemed like a lot written and crossed out on my marker board!
We caught our mouse. Peanut butter works great! It was nice that Joseph was home to dispose of the mouse. He took him out and threw him in the trash can(it was already dead) and then he realized that he had dropped the mouse into the recycling bin… Those poor people! Probably will think somebody did it on purpose.

Since we are planning on being in Okla. during Christmas, we had our little Christmas yesterday. I fixed cornish hens (disappointment- they looked cute, but that was about it.) and the fixings. The dressing was a little disappointing too. But even though the meal wasn't "perfect", we still enjoyed our evening.
We've adopted Joseph's family's tradition of having stockings. We bought cheap little things for each other, along with the 'real' gift. That was really fun! And Joseph bought me some junk food!!!!! Chocolate covered cherries, salt & vinegar chips, and three candy bars! He got me lots of other stuff too.
I made Daniel a blanket. Lots of hours went into that thing! I hope he'll like it. He's kinda small to tell now, but he was sure looking at it. He seems to like his stocking gifts, forks and spoons and suction-grip bowls with lids(I guess that one was partly for me...).
